We show mercy by sharing the corporal and spiritual works of mercy with those in need. Our motivation comes from our personal experience of being healed by God’s mercy. Periodically throughout the year, parishioners of all ages come together for a Mercy Mission. Here are a few places we have served in the past:

  • Second Harvest

  • Community of Jesus Crucified

  • St. Joseph Diner

  • Desormeaux Foundation

  • Pro-Life March

  • Nursing Home visits

  • Thanksgiving Food Drive

  • Our local neighborhood

  • Catholic Charities

Mercy Mission for Lent

Our Lenten Mercy Mission this year is creating gift bags for our brothers and sisters who are incarcerated. As a corporal work of mercy, we are humbled to give our time to making these bags in reminding those incarcerated that they are seen. There are a few ways to help:

Donate
- Individual sealed snacks (not home-made)
-Small game books with glue binding (sudoku, crossword puzzles, etc)
- Paper prayer cards

Give a monetary donation
- All monetary donations will be used to purchase items for the bags

Write a letter to a prisoner
- You & your family can write letters to a prisoner, wishing them a happy Easter

Help assemble the bags on March 16th from 10-11:30am
-  We will need lots of hands to assemble these bags, you and your family are welcome to join us!
