The practice of offering Mass Intentions dates back to the very early church. It was customary for Christians to make a financial offering to cover the bread and wine for a particular Mass on behalf of a particular intention. Although it is most common to request a Mass Intention for the repose of the soul of someone who has died, Masses can also be requested for other reasons such as thanksgiving or for the intentions of another person (such as on a birthday).

Our suggested offering is $5 per Mass. Masses may be offered for individuals (Jay Smith), couples (Mr. & Mrs. Joe Breaux), or groups (souls in purgatory, members of the military, Smith/Breaux Families)

You may call Karen at the church office or click the button below to request up to 3 Masses at a time. Following a recent death, individuals may request up to 10 Masses at a time.
